STUDENT CENTERED LEARNING

The teachers are no longer the center of the class, their role is not like before in
only give the information, now the student has a role to choose what to study and when to study.  I think the teachers are only guides the students by giving the instructions on what to look for or what steps to do, then the students have the their way of getting the information and the learn better by searching the subject.

The students are active and participate in learning instead of just listening and taking the important notes. In my opinion, the student will experiment, practice, summarize, read
and write about specific subjects so they will retain the
material  for long time and will relate the subject to the real life than those who do not. The students with this style of learning will be more confidence and can face problems which they will solve and cope with any situations.

I think it is a good idea to make an electronic lesson, due to my
experience in eClass the students love the lessons created by Active
Board Program because the teacher planned the lesson and put
attractive pictures, sounds, and videos that the idea of the lesson.
The teacher has to guide the lesson by giving as examples then
exercises which let the student participate in the lesson. This type
of lessons let the student concentrate with the teacher while he puts
some surprises between the examples and the exercises. I agree that
the lesson to be good, it will take more than one week which wastes
the teacher time and may see his class not finishing the material for
the exam because the time is limited and the material is a lot. Here
the teacher can be a tutor to the computer and Active board program is
the tool to help the teacher create a good planned lesson.

With many software programs the teacher can choose which program is
easier for him to make a lesson like flash, powerpoint, smart board
program. Nowadays there is no need to understand the detailed
programming as a teacher of other subjects. He can use many programs
as direct ready functions of inserting from tool panel, spending some
time with the program and learn just what he exactly want from the
program then he will master the simple and advance technique which he
needs to make a good lesson.
